I bought the CB Online Course yesterday, and I opened up the Pre-test to see if it really was the March 2005 SAT. I found out that it was by recognizing the essay, so I closed the window. Today I went back to try to print out the Pre-Test, but it won't let me. The only option is to "continue" taking the test online. I want to print it out to simulate the actual SAT as closely as possible, but stupid CB won't let me now. Has his happened to anyone else? What should I do?

Flip, just create another account via the FREE registration. The March 2005 is a free test that you can access without paying the $69 dollars. Once you get to the "trial" page, make sure to "print" it to a PDF file. After saving it, you can then print the pages you need from the PDF file.

If that does not work, send me an email, and I'll email you the file.

Thanks, Xiggi. It is pretty stupid that CB restricts what you do with the Online Course, considering we pay 60 or 70 bucks for it. I also think I wasted the chance to use the essay grader for the Pre-test, because I clicked on "Update Writing Score" before seeing the disclaimer at the bottom of the page: This is only available once.

Does the free version (that you can access with your second account) include essay grading? If not, you might want to try contacting Online Course support and see if they will let you re-take the Pre-test (explain that you never actually submitted any answers). Who knows.. they might let you

The free version does not include essay grading. They just give you sample essays with each grade to compare. I emailed the Online Course people and I am waiting for a reply. Thanks, tanman.

CB emailed back:
"Once you have opened a pre-test and select to take it online or on the
computer, you must complete the entire test before having it graded.
Once the test is graded, then you may take the test again and select to
take it online or on the computer."

So basically they didn't help me at all. Anyways, I created another account and printed it out. So I will take it on paper and then plug my answers in like I am taking it online I guess.
