Problem with Notification - pls help.

<p>Okay, this is a tick frustrating. I’ve sort been anonymously sizing myself up with other prospective columbia students for the past month - it hasn’t been terribly encouraging. seeing amazing kids getting rejected from ED hasn’t helped bolster my confidence either. Anyway, i guess congrats are warranted for those who got in.</p>

<p>thing is, i also applied ED, but i haven’t gotten any notification. I haven’t received the notification email found any means of checking via the pin code online. </p>

<p>the FAQ on the columbia website says EDs are announced before or on the 15th, but it seems that a lot of people have already gotten their notifications. I’m worried that what happened a few years ago (notification date was mistakenly written as the 20th while it was actually the 15th)may have happened again and i’ve really just missed the boat by profoundly screwing up somewhere in the application process. </p>

<p>Decisions were released on December 11th, 5:00 p.m. You find out your decision by logging into the original application website.</p>

<p>Did you apply online? If you did, you use the same PIN and password that you used while you were applying.</p>

<p>I applied online. I have the pin and i do use it to try and check the status of the decision.
When I log in using the pin, I the the red lettering that states that decisions are available and i am to click on the "Decision Status" link below the "Application for Admission: Part I" to check my status. However, I see no such link.
Are you sure that no further decisions will be released for ED?</p>

<p>Call the admissions office and let them know the problem. They may even tell you your decision over the phone. Good luck.</p>

<p>I think i'll wait until the 15th (as it was the date posted on the FAQ section. if someone could link me to the page which stated the 11th would be the day that would be awesome) .. don't want to hassel people which so much power over my life. so really nobody else has yet to recieve ED letters?</p>

<p>At the bottom of the page, open the article that says Important Update for Early Decision Applicants.</p>

<p>When did you submit your app? If you submitted it by the deadline, there's no reason why you shouldn't have received your decision already.</p>

<p>Consequence, what web browser are you using? Could you have something blocked that won't allow you to see the link on the page?</p>

<p>Firefox does that to me a lot....</p>
