Here's the story: I got a scholarship that requires me to give them a enrollment verification. I contacted the Office of Registrar for a letter of verification, but they told me that they couldn't provide me with the letter unless I've already registered with them and pay the $500 matriculation fee (which I assume the former takes place at orientation and the latter happens when the bill is sent in August; both dates too late for the scholarship). What should I do now? Is there any way I could get the registration and the fee paid now?

For enrolling freshmen, your enrollment verification is either your letter of admission, or the confirmation letter you received when your candidate reply form and enrollment deposit were processed.
