I was filling up the MIT Form today and met a few problems, and I wonder if someone can help me out.

There is this portion that asks you to fill in your ethnicity. May I know if this is only for US citizens? Because I am an international applicant, and I tried filling in my options, but it seems that the system is scripted to wipe them out.

Lol thz for the really quick reply MITchris.

@akashdip… uh i think it is implied after reading mine and op that it is not for international :). In fact he said “it is only (emphasized) for US citizen”. hehe

Wah… lol sry, i didnt mean to imply tat way… hehehhehe but then a follow up question that ask approximately the same thing ? lol is tat a tradition or sth?? anyway, gl with the app!

I have another question. When I am filling my my parents’ university, the names of their universities are too long to be filled in entirely. May I know what I should do? Thank you very much!

I’m trying to fill in Section 2 of Part 1, where your write your address. I type in my address correctly, then hit save. When I do that, a red box pops up saying “enter home address” and my address has been completely messed up. Anyone know what I can do?

Also, in Part 2, what do you do if you’ve been taking a class for more than 1 year?

@waitingforivy: regarding your second question, what I did was just put the class down twice with the two different grade levels then explain that these courses were 2 year courses in the “general comments on grading system” section. I imagine that would work just fine.
