Procrastination Station

yea im just folding it neatly in the envelope.

im so ****ing brilliant

because ive been told by numerous people that they only really care about the 1st pg...so i better get it all on 1pg

so prioritise and type well. the big page is just gonna annoy the hell out of them

well i have literally 20 awards that are of equal importance...wanna stress that a lot.

I don't think it's thaaat big a deal.

Wait.. is this limitation only for Penn or all (or most) schools?

Just Penn. Policies vary. MIT and UChi read everything you send in. Stanford doesn't take crap.

And are you guys only talking about resumes/brag sheets or all supplemental material?

Can you tell me if any of the following use this tacit policy: CMU, Northwestern, JHU, Lehigh, Cornell, Vanderbilt, UVa

no, he said that even if you send more, they only glance at it. they only really read the first page. so he's sending a really big page, which i think will tick them off.

I am so not letting you guys stress me out at 2 AM the night before i mail off my crap

i asked dartmouth and they said they were ok with legal paper...

hoping the others are too

It's frequently not tacit. Look at the college's websites.

I realized my JHU essay does not fit in the space provided on the Common App. So, I probably need to send it to them as a "supplemental"-type thing after I print it out.

eckie: then you better leave.

that's what i'm doing.

bob: you might be ok. i honestly don't know. i can tell you that if i was your regional rep, and you sent me that, you'd have to be damn nice or damn special for me not to reject you.

there's also the matter of
1) personality: will this roll of your reps shoulders or tick them way off
2) paper cut. if they get a papercut folding that thing to put in your file i swear you're in for it. honestly

Loud Noises Loud Noises

AdComs are nice. Especially the Penn ones. Go for it, bob.

And don't leave, Eckie! I would be devastated.

paper clip or staple?!?!

(500 posts :))

Neither...congrats

Well Id rather pray for personality than not allow then to see my crazy volunteer work...which i actually love...its not the ******** reading to autistic kids ****.

No, I'm serious Megalo. The things that go together in my envelope. like...pages of my recs...

PAPER CLIP OR STAPLE?!
