<p>and I’m waiting on one more rec. Teacher said it was done but has not submitted it yet. Gonna go harrass him afterschool today. </p>
<p>Guys, just dont procrastinate till too late. I would hate to hear that any of you got screwed over by some random misfortune. </p>
<p>Trust me it can happen. Conder the following unlikely but possible circumstances:
-You computer breaks down
-You ISP has a problem (internet goes down)
-You loose power
-When you try to submit it you discover that you accidently left something huge out
-Common App servers get overloaded and slows down.
-You fall alseep by accident cause you’re so tired from working on the app and wanted to “rest your eyes”
-Your credit card doesn’t go through for paying for the app
-You can’t find where you saved an important file
-You get distracted by CC (and trust me, considering you’re reading this right now, this is very possible)</p>
<p>Make sure you have a good amount of time in case something goes wrong. You should plan to submit it before 6 EST.</p>

I’m just waiting for my counselor rec and stuff to be submitted. She just told me today that she wanted to do it online instead :-|</p>
<p>Now to conquer 2 essays before December 1st and 5 essays before January 1st.</p>
<p>Edit: Did anyone else get nervous before hitting the “Submit” button? I feel neurotic because I did haha.</p>
<p>I started my UMichigan supplement two days before the deadline. I pretty much spent 10 hours over 36 hours writing and editing those two supplemental essays–but in the end, I was pleased with the end result. I submitted the supplement at 7pm yesterday Oct 31–and then headed out to a party. Good way to celebrate finishing my early apps, I suppose.</p>
<p>However, I did submit all my payments around October 25–I had heard horror stories about payments submitted at the deadline not going through and thus the entire application was disregarded.</p>
<p>Don’t wait until the last few hours before midnight to submit - if you have computer problems, or need help with an issue, there won’t be time to submit a tech support request and get an answer back before the deadline. The 11:59:59pm deadline is local to the timezone of the college you’re applying to.</p>
