professional essay editing

does anyone know of a GOOD professional college essay editing service? i tried essayedge.com for my national merit essay, but i really wasn't satisfied with their work..maybe just cause it wasn't ME, i dont know.

you have got some nerve to ask a question like this, if you are actually serious

nah. I think he is serious. a lot of rich kids do stuff like this. two of my friends are paying $5000 for college essay services. I am moderately well off ,enough to not qualify for financial aid at all, but dad is not paying for anything. from application fees to tuition... I hate kids who have it all. This is going to be great fun paying on $45,000 a year while this punk pays hundreds just for his essay.

Personally, I think you should just write it yourself. That is the most honest way. If you want to check for grammar etc ask your english teacher.

wow..i actually thought a lot of kids did this...i actually qualify for financial aid..a LOT of financial aid..but i guess my mom just doesn't want all my hard work throughout high school to go to waste at college applications time.

i'm really not a "punk who's paying hundreds just for his essay" (i'm a girl btw) i just didn't know any better. sorry if i offended anyone.

hmmm maybe I should have rephrased. I apologize for my rude comments (thought you were another rich kid using his money to get ahead like my two friends), but I believe that admissions officers will appreciate the student's voice. Be sure to attempt to come across as an interesting person though. If you are having difficulties, however, then I think it is reasonable to ask for some professional assistance, especially since you qualify for financial aid and have worked hard in high school. Be sure to get quality help.

I really don't think a professional essay editor is necessary. Everyone I know who got into very elite schools (Northwestern, Cornell, WashU, Duke, etc.) didn't need one....they used their english teachers and peers! So don't waste your money :-)
