Finals were just last week and my professor emailed me telling me that he lost my MIDTERM. I do not have a grade for my midterm and he asked if I returned after he gave them back for us to look at. I did not make it to the class after the midterm so I never even saw or had in my possession my midterm. Does anyone know the policy for this? It would be one thing if he told me weeks ago when we took midterms but since finals are over I do not know what’s going to happen.
Some teachers will just ignore the midterm, not factor it in, so your grade will be based on just the final and any other work, class participation, etc. If you don’t want that, you may be able to come up with another solution.
