professors for math 191, physics 112, cs 100

what are some of the professors i should target for the above courses? in terms of clarity, willingness to help, and easiness. thank you!

I second and bump the thread

physics 112 had only 1 professor last semester. <a href="http://www.ratemyprofessors.com%5B/url%5D">www.ratemyprofessors.com</a> crossreferenced with the course catalog will be an invaluable resource in this case.

Yes, unless they dont have any of the professors that teach a certain course...like Math 191 for instance

for 191, 90 percent of the professors are not available on ratemyprofessors.
for physics 112, i get J. Thom on the catalog. there is no such person at ratemyprofessor.
for cs 100, i would like to know whether i should take J or M, for the last time, for someone who has absolutely no background in any type of programming.

sparticus, do you still play WE? i would like to face you with my Italy 4-5-1.

also, can anybody provide me the full set of Gibbons prelims?

harvardman1988: Typically engineers take 100M (Java/Matlab split) and CS majors take 100J (Java with a taste of Matlab).

I would still play WE if my friend with the game still lived 60 steps from my door. However, I am currently on an island.

bump?! bump?!?

Gibbons is teaching 112? What happened to Dr. Phil?

Math 191 was, at least in my day, taught in small groups by associate professors, which is why the professors aren't on the rating sites.

For CS100M you will most likely have Charlie Van Loan and the infamous Daisy Fan, who I didn't find to be all that bad.

Daisy Fan is a worthless duche-rag, honestly. If you have no computer programming experience and find CS100 to be difficult, you will see why people call her an elitist egotistical unhelpful little b**ch.

If you do have prior programming experience or find the class easy, she will be a dull and boring little jackoff that is hardly worth getting up in the morning for.

nice...actually that is why I decided to take CS100 a bit later, so I could brush up on some JAVA

dam it, munited, you lucky sob . my eng. class is only offered in spring. x.x

.....lolz...which one are you taking

Yeah CS100 is either you get it or you don't. If you haven't done any programming before, god help you.
