wow. more than 15000 applicants, less than 5000 admitted students…doesn’t it make you feel special?! :)

It DOES! That’s wonderful!

every1 who got accepted to UCLA pats yourself in the back! you are exceptional students!

i will thank you i don’t mean to boast, but that is seriously impressive.

yep! 18,700 applicants… We are a big deal!!

I wonder what Berkeley’s stats are for comparison

I actually thought 28.59% is kind of high, until I looked at the other years (2006, 41.35%)

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooo :)

Dayummm go us!

any update on individual majors?

im curious when the information for each major will come out. I wanna see how I stack up .

International went way up. From 2002-2010, international students had lower admit rates than CA residents all but 2008 and 2010. In 2008, the admit rate for international students was 0.33% higher. But this year, international students had a 7.02% higher admit rate than CA residents. Makes sense though, those international students will have to shell out about $35K/year for tuition then even more for housing and other costs. (UCLA estimates ~$50K/9 months)

damn this is a make you feel good thread… pats self on back

damn we are serious business here!

Congratulations for being the cream of the crop!

damn, it feels good to be a gangster…

congrats you guys. =) It’s getting harder and harder every year.

I mean, this is getting closer and closer to freshman admit rates. So much for “subpar” transfers (I’m still reeling from the dumb Cal thread).

stupid Berkeley thread! why are they like that? they are falling behind in applicant interest in both Freshman and Transfer students!

http://students.berkeley.edu/admissions/freshmen.asp

How dare they!!! how dare they!!!

damn UCLA is beating them in so many ways…pretty soon its gonna be UCLA the number 1 public school in the nation. no wonder there was all that contempt towards the UCLA Bruins from the Berkeley people at the SoCal reception. Berkeley is scared! hahahahaha

wow UCLA is catching up way faster than expected!

^ That’s what’s up.

thank you for that officespace quote. we can be friends.
