So this week is the close of Prog and will determine who is on Ac/Pro and who is not. When is the Semester closed Dec-Jan? and When do they post the Deans lists ( Athletics, Academics, Military ) ? Question about when the CC crowd gets to wear those Lightning Bolts, Stars, and Wreaths.

They will not get to find out about merit lists until next semester...they can wear them when they come back from break. Merit lists are per semester.

As for prog grades, they were supposed to come out today from what I heard, still not up.

I had heard that they come out on Thursday.

Quote from Potterfan "no shiny things until semester is over with. Grrrrrrrrrrr."

Prog grades are out.

Like G4C said, prog grades are up. For any 4 digs that didn't know this already (I didn't), just go to the "Grade Card" tab on CAMIS to check 'em.

yay, did fine and my room mate is fine too. w00t, first time my roommate didn't end up on ac pro! I'm cursed that way.

*addendem.....my room mate has never been on acpro, but my past roomies have all been.

hornet, were you actually worried that you would be on ac pro? I know you're a biochem major, but really, I don't think your 3.9 is going anywhere because you're kind of brilliant. In case no one has reminded you recently. :)

No ac pro here. :) Goal is to stay around a 3.5, which is really funny because I would have flipped out with a B in high school. Guess your priorities change a bit...

thanks redhead...lol. ;) Keep up those grades and you'll get whatever you want from this place.

Yeah, I'm hating the physics department right now. The C in 215 put me at a 2.89 for prog (I always go for at least a 3.0).

On a postitive note, my roommate is likely going from Ac Pro to the Dean's list this semester.

OK my moment to brag even though prog is meaningless 3.2 GPA 237 of 1208 Academically, 24 of 1208 Athletically, now if she can only raise the MPA...

MPA is not official at all for prog. It's something cadet leadership is trying to do, so don't worry about that. Otherwise, very nice! You have every right to brag! :)

What is MPA even based on for four degrees? We don't have a specific job in the squadron like some of the upperclassmen do...

Knowledge tests, AMI's, SAMI's, formal uniform inspections, and standups. Supposedly Form 10's can also play a part, both positive ones and negative ones, although I don't know if that is true.

Honestly, I personally think 4 dig MPAs are crap lol. Because of what they gave me 1st semester last year (despite being one of the few having passed EVERY k-test with one of the highest averages), I am ranked 995/1100 in my class. So, even if you don't get what you deserve, don't fret. :) Also, mid-semester MPAs shouldn't concern you either, most upperclassmen in squad staffs think its more work than what its worth (not actually official), so most flights are giving them just to meet their required averages.

I'm on AC PRO.... :/

maybe if I was like the VP and I could take naps in my drawer I'd have a 3.5.... but no.... chem sucks.

i have no problem with MPAs with the way my squad did it. i have heard of squads that did blanket MPAs, which stinks. mine actaully paid attention to who did well on knowledge, who took the initiative to help their classmates and the squad. my roommates and i did outstanding on inspections, k-tests, and were looked up to by our classmates, so we all received high MPAs. those who slacked off and skipped out on training and didn't care about their uniforms and rooms did poorly
