I'm a rising senior and am still looking for opportunities like the ones I got to experience this junior year. I know most pre-college, enrichment, and career programs are aimed for juniors because they have one more year to apply to college. But are there programs for seniors and the summer after the senior year?
I am from North Carolina. This thread is for discussing these programs. We're seniors and we deserve to have these opportunities!

bump?!! this is not just summer opportunities, but all kinds..

leetx......hwo was ur svsm? it was ECU right?

Sometimes colleges will have summer programs for freshmen who will be attending that school in the fall. You might also be able to do some sort of study abroad thing.

yeah, I'd rather spend my post senior year summer in a relaxed fashion....u can travel a different country ...which can work either way!
So u r a NCer....that's awesome...coz, if u r thinking abt UNC CH...then, u can do the UNC summer program free of cost and free of any kinda a selection IF u can make it to UNC! how's that? ;)

what is that? sv was great at asu

but there are internships and programs like page that you can participate. I'm looking for things of that nature. Anyone?

LeadAmerica. :) Pretty much the whole week is mandatory fun. They do these little things called "energizers" inbetween lectures and such, and they're so much fun. if you get the chance to go to one of these, do it. Best 10 days of my life.

nooo.. thats not the type of program im looking for. Like something prestigious or something u can learn from. Like an internship or something. I heard that the Robertson or Morehead scholarships have these summer enrichment things. I want to go to stuff like that, like in high school, even though im not considered a HS student anymore. Where can you find summer programs like that?
