I'm a current junior, looking for a summer program for next summer. I'm interested in IR, and I don't want a program that lasts for more than 3/4 weeks. I want a program where I can have fun and learn more about IR. I don't care if the program is very selective or prestigious. I am not looking for a program for my college apps, just for me to enjoy.

What I've found so far:
JSA Summer Program at Georgetown
Georgetown International Relations
NSLC International Diplomacy
GWU US Foreign Policy

I really like the sound of the Summer@Brown course "International Political Economy of Development" but it's 7 weeks long.

Price and location are not an issue at all.

So...

Any suggestions?
Opinions on the JSA/Georgetown/NSLC/GWU programs?

I’m not sure if you can do it without receiving a letter first, but I went to China in the Summer of 2008 in International Relations with the International Youth Leadership Forum (IYLF), a branch of the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF).
I had a lot of fun and learned a lot, they had interesting speakers and good trips (Trip to the Beijing foreign ministry to talk with diplomats, CCTV station, etc)
It was pretty expensive, but a great opportunity to study IR both in theory and in practice.

(I think they change locations every year, but the experience should be similar)

i did JSA summer school at georgetown in IR. it was easily the greatest experience of my life. the professor was incredible, the speakers program was amazing, we were able to apply our knowledge in debates, and i formed friendships that will last a lifetime. definitely do it- you won’t regret it
