I've heard that people put programs on their TI 84 calculator so that they have most of the formulas that you need for the SAT. Is this allowed? And if it is does anyone know how to set the programs on your calculator.

PS. From what ive heard, some people but vocab words and dictionaries on the calculators too (but I'm not really interested in that).

There are no rules against math formulas in your calculator. However, it is better if you memorize and understand the formulas. It takes time to call up the formulas and shows that you truly do not comprehend the process behind them. Students who know the formulas and understand them can fly through problems, while those relying on calculators or the Formula Box plod along.

You cannot use your calculator during Reading and Writing sections (it must be off your desk), so there is no point in putting vocab in there.
