<p>I think you should go if you’re a senior. It’s a once in your lifetime experience, and you don’t want to miss it just because you don’t have a date. Could you ask a friend to set you up, or someone outside of your school?</p>
<p>if your a junior though, then I don’t think its as important. Some of my friends and I are skipping junior prom to go laser tagging or something cheaper and more fun.</p>

<p>What would be the point of attending prom anyways? It would make life more complicated when you got to find some girls to be around with you, and it only sucks if other guys can get girls and you can’t.</p>

<p>Well, it’s just a night to have fun. Lol if you rent a limo ALL by yourself, you will get a date if people are still available. Besides, most people say that the prom itself sets up the real fun afterwards: after parties. Just ask a good, close friend if you want to go. Cheers!</p>
<p>I have literally gone through a list of every girl I know and there are no prospects. Its not like I waited too long, there was always some reason or other that I couldnt ask every single girl (like one girl’s parents wouldn’t let her go to prom.)</p>

<p>Last year I reluctantly went with a guy who I don’t like whose had this huge crush on me forever. He refused to respect my personal space and I was embarrassed the entire time. Then I ended up with a migraine and had to leave before after prom…by myself.</p>
<p>This year I have no prospects. None. Slim pickings in a class of 72 that’s disproportionately female…</p>

<p>haha don’t sweat it! I waited WAY too long, asked my friends to figure out who was still available, and I got a date in about 5 hours. Do the same. I have a ridiculously low number of girls in my grade. It can work, just gotta want it Sure, I don’t really like this girl a whole lot, but ehh, better than nothing right? ;)</p>
