Thanks!

Bumpin it up like a volleyball

UMI: low reach for OOS, you may be deferred because of GPA then accepted in RD if your senior year grades are good.

Penn State you’re good I think; however, with your lower (no offense) GPA it’ll be tough at Michigan. You’ll likely get into both, but don’t think they’re automatic.

Penn State has an average of 3.5-3.8, your GPA is definitely low for this certain college, even at its peak. Nice ACT though, and they might take the upward trend in consideration. But I would say its a high reach. UofM, ehhh same with the GPA, just apply to some safeties. Consider U of I maybe?? CHANCE MY LATEST POST PLEASE :D

Thanks guys for your honest advice. Can I get some more input for how i can improve my chances for michigan OOS

no chance
hopefully you have a safety
and you can always apply to a community college

Don’t listen to missonsan…what a ■■■■■…with that ACT score and GPA, a community college is wayy out of question. Just do whatever you can to strengthen that GPA, if you’re a senior, just work on those essays and make them FANTASTIC. Your stats will blend in too much unless you really stand out. Definitely apply Early, it can’t hurt.

Love4Law- I’d lean more towards missonsan on this one, sorry. It’ll be extremely tough unless you can get around a 3.4-5 by the time you apply (still, it’ll be hard even then). I wish you the best luck and hope you get in!

Id like to say that i will not be going to a community college at any costs. I know many people with stats much lower than me and have gotten ibto NC State which is my last resort.

Thanks for you opinion however. Bump for more input

I meant your chances for Michigan, not that you should go to community college haha. Yeah NCST is a good backup.

Oh okay. Yea its good for engineering but Im looking for business/econ schools. Anyways bump

I’d say you’re reach for UMichigan and slight reach for Penn State. Check out my thread and chance at least two of those (non Ivy)

Try a LAC. They may not be as well known, but some are really good. Try Kenyon.

bumpppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

Penn State should be fine. Michigan’s more of a reach.

Chance me back please!
