<p>Hi, I'm applying to both PROMYS and HCSSiM. I just want to know the difference between them.</p>
<p>Which one is more prestigious?
Which one is more difficult to get into?
Which program is more difficult once you get there?
Which one is nerdier?
Which one is more fun?</p>
<p>Also how hard are they to get into. I'm almost done with the PROMYS app, I have full solutions to about half and 3/4ish solutions to the rest.</p>

<p>I don’t know about HCSSiM but for SUMaC I did Program 1 last year and it was really good. The work was hard (at least, I thought it was) but the problem sets weren’t absolutely impossible and everyone (TAs, professors, other classmates) is always there to help if you need it.</p>
<p>Which program did you get into? I’m considering going to Program 2 this summer.</p>
<p>So far Ross and SUMaC. How many kids go to SUMaC, and are there more rising juniors than rising seniors? thanks!</p>

<p>Last year there were 37 students, and I’m pretty sure most of them were rising seniors. I think they aim for 35-40 every year.</p>
