U of A > ASU

U of A is, in my opinion, a better learning institution than ASU, except the honors college. I researched both schools a lot, and even tho I received a larger scholarship from ASU, if I stay in state it will be U of A. ASU is a major party school, also. U of A is one, but not quite as hardcore. It is also classified as a public ivy, tho that term has been debated on CC.

Agree on UA>ASU.

Pros:
- Cheap
- Great research/interning possibilities
- Surprising amount of attention (at least for the minorities like me -- ha!)
- Great clubs, programs, internships and jobs

Cons:
- Financial aid has a habit of losing, well, EVERYTHING. Multiple times. They're also pretty surly most of the time, and it's a nightmare to work with on occasion...

Generally speaking, if you can get into Barrett, ASU's Honor College, go to ASU, otherwise UA is a school with better reputation.
