<p>of the University of Rochester. I know there's a "Rochester" board, but this board is certainly frequented much more often. So, if you know anything, please fill me in. </p>

<p>How's the campus? How's the general student population? Is the food really that bad? How are the academics? How's the social scene? What are their best programs? Is it really just a "safety school"?</p>

<p>I'd consult Princeton Review, but its page on Rochester is really uninformative, unfortunately. </p>

<p>For me, at least, the best part is it's connection with Eastman. If you're a music person, this will probably be HUGE plus.</p>

<p>Academics are supposed to be good, but really not as rigorous as schools like Rice/Duke/etc. It's supposed to be relatively easier to get into than these other schools too.</p>
