Hello.
As for AP Biology, the most famous book to be known is Cliff Notes. However, I heard that there are some weaknesses to Cliffs. Could you tell me the pros and cons of this book?

The only thing I didn’t like about it is that its diagrams were boring and almost too plain to even understand. Most of the time, if I wanted a visual representation of anything, I had to turn to my Campbell’s textbook.

yeah, Campbell’s diagrams are much better. last week, i was studying page 96 of cliffs. had no idea what the **** they were trying to tell me, with all that linkage and stuff. After staring at it for about 10 minutes, I went to the page in Campbell’s that explained gene linkage. It was like the sun came out, it was very clear cut.

Does anybody else fell that Cliff’s questions are a bit too easy??

I like the information and the layout of Cliffs, but few pictures and “what-the?” diagrams dissapointed me. Strangely, I found out that Campbell’s explanation to its pictures were even hard to understand? To Cliffs users, how do you fell about Cliff’s Plant section and Anatomy&Physiology section? It was little bit inadequate…

Cliffs’ questions are very close to actual exam…

I thought the plant section for cliff’s was pretty adequate, disregarding the sucky pictures. Maybe the only reason why i like campbell’s is because it’s in color haha.
i thought the animal for and function was pretty inadequate…I mostly studied out of Camp for that and just read through Cliffs.
