Is it just me is Cliffs AP Bio sometimes confusing. For me, I am have experienced difficulties trying to understand the telomere creation, the molecular genetics of viruses, and regulation of gene expression. Although I do plan on reading the Campbell's AP Bio book, I was wondering if anybody else is having troubles w/ Cliffs APBio too?

i have it too. it’s pretty concise, and sometimes misses things–however overall i find it to be awesome.

we’re also using campbell’s, are you guys allowed to access the online stuff from that book? all of the animations and activities help tons

I’m using Cliff’s 7th edition. And sometimes reading some chapters from Campbell. My teacher doesn’t TEACH!! I have to learn everything about animals/plants in the next 3 weeks…and I have 5 other AP Exams to study for too…ahhhh!!

My teacher sucks. I self taught myself from the first week of school…!!!

Yes, if you have Campbell’s and can get online, the animations help a lot. They simplify things so that then you can go back and get the details from the text.

My teacher did a marathon on plants and animal’s right before our spring break. Then we had about four days of testing covering that material (something like eight chapters) plus another seven.

Isn’t there some law against giving a unit test that covers fifteen chapters at once?
