<p>Virginia Tech is in my top 3 schools and I wanted to know what the social life is like there? Is it a commuter school or do students stay there on the weekends? Do people who go there like the school? What kind of people go there? Any general information that would aid me in my selection would be appreciated.</p>

<p>VT is an awesome school. Congratulations on your acceptance! If you go over to the Discussion Home Link on the menu. Then go to “Colleges and Universities”- under which you will find “Alphabetical list of colleges”. Scroll down to the V’s and go to Virginia Tech’s forum. There are quite a few students and parents who are more than happy to tout their school and share its positives and negatives. Best of luck in your decision.</p>

<p>On PrincetonReview.com, VT students rate their campus life a 96 on a scale of 60-99. Their rating of their campus food places it second in the country. 99% of the frosh live together on campus. Yup - it’s a pretty awesome scene.</p>
