Prospect Transfer University of Miami

Hi,

So I applied as a transfer to UMiami for fall of 2013. I dont like the college im in now and I didnt do so hot during first semester. I was hesitant to apply, but I did anyways hoping to have a slight chance. In my app I expressed my strong desire to attend and my pretty impressive resume, but the only thing I was lacking was my first semester college gpa. I also hinted that it was my first semester of college and that I was getting acclimated to the lifestyle and routine, and that second semester is going quite well. Since then I got an email that stated "final spring grades will be needed before your application can be submitted to the admission committee." So my question is, is this a good sign? I am most likely gonna pull off a 3.0-3.2 this semester, so i do not know if i should feel good.
