i just got my sat ii scores today and im a lil nervous.

literature 750
biology-m 760
math 2 800

and sats
05/05 2310 800m 760cr 750w 11 essay
and i took them in 10th grade and got a 1570 800m 770v

and a 237 psat in junior year

i am most worried about my satii scores, how do they compare, i havent gotten percentile rankings yet... do you think i should retake, im definitely going to apply to princeton

this isnt my entire resume, i didnt list any extracurriculars or anything im just wondering about my standardized test scores.

heres what i see wrong, i am fine with my sat 1 scores, however my sat ii i am not:
the math im happy with
and the lit also, because the humanities are not my forte,

the bio i am not happy with:
i am applying as a bio major,
ive done scietific research, and technically i should be the strongest in science

and since not everybody takes the sat iis - generally only people who are already strong in each subject area take each respective test - a 760, although it may be a fabulous sat 1 score...perhaps it is not as impressive on an sat 2? I am asking for your opinions, do you think that i should retake the bio-m test and shoot for an 800, which is what i was hoping to and should have gotten, or is the 40 points insignificant and should i not worry about it?

It's highly unlikely to be about your scores at this point. If you want to retake the SAT2 bio test, because you strongly feel it misrepresents your abilities, go ahead, but from what I have seen on this board it's unlikely to make the difference. You should think about your essays etc.

yeah i do my research in a neuroscience lab at a nearby college, its mostly grads and postdocs, a large lab like 20-30 people,

how i started:
i got in contact with the head of the bio department at the college where i do my research, and she put me in touch with the lab, but apparently there was some lapse of communication because when i first arrived they thought i was going to be a grad student, so when they saw i was so young, they were skeptical.

At first they were just having me watch and read stuff, and i came one day a week in lieu of school (the benefits of going to a small private school where they let you do what you want as long as you have good grades).....

after that they started me doing standard protocols just like to test me out, and now i just do my own research, i am more or less on my own and have free reign, they just help me and answer questions if i need.

i was there all last summer, one day a week during the next year and on weekends when i needed, and i will be there all this summer too.
