I got a 690 on my Sat II Bio back in May. I've been constantly debating whether to retake or not on June 4, tomorrow. I haven't studied any since then, but I remember everything and am willing to review all day today along with my other Sat IIs.

My SAT scores look like this: 800 Math, 770 Reading, 720 Writing

My other SAT II scores look like this: 710 US History, 750+ Math IIC, 750+ Literature. (the Math IIC and Lit are predictions based on practice tests)

If I have three SAT IIs above 700, will a fourth one at 690 even matter? Additionally, I think the May Sat II bio was ridiculously hard, and I don't wanna pass up the opportunity if the June one is easier. Then again, if it's not, I don't wanna end up with worse than a 690 when I retake. Thank you, and I appreciate your comments on whether I should retake or not.

I'm looking at Harvard, Penn-Wharton, Princeton, Yale, and Duke.

anyone in similar situations?

I'd rely on Math IIC and Literature....

does bump actually mean bring up my post? i thought it was just "bump"ing it up the list. very cool

for HYP, retake take it but only if you know you can do 750+ish.

So it wouldn't be worth it if I improved to only a 710 or 720?

Do colleges frown upon retaking SAT IIs?

Pentasa, I really think that you are fine as it is. Besides, what if for whatever reason that particular test on that particular day is hard for you and you don't end up doing better. I'm not sure it is worth the risk when you will have three other perfectly good scores.

Thank you coldcomfort, I am leaning towards not retaking it. So do colleges just like input ur highest scores from Math, Verbal, Writing and your two (maybe three for some colleges) highest SAT IIs into some computer?
