If you got a 760 on your SAT II Bio, and you were shooting for top tier universities, would you retake it?

This is the situation that I am in. I am not planning on majoring in anything Bio related, but I feel that a 760 might be inadequate for the likes of Stanford, Yale, and Princeton. What do you all think?

Hm, I think that a 760 is fine and will not tip you either way. What do you think about retaking a 740 if you are confident that you will improve?

Do NOT retake a 760 on bio, that is totally ridiculous. LF61, your advice is extremely misguiding toward the OP. I suggest, as the above poster stated, work on other stuff, take other SAT IIs if you want, and of course sharpen your application for next year. What amazes me even more is you are most likely not even going to major in Biology, nonetheless even if one were to major in Biology I would still most likely tell he or she not to retake a 760.

"Don't waste time that could be spent on polishing your essays"

Am I like the only CCer that waited until the week/day before to write the essays?

But yeah, 760 is definitely good enough for non-bio major. I had 700 on Literature, applying to CS, and it didn't hurt me at all (but I had other SAT IIs to back me up...)

760 is great. Don't retake. In fact, some admission staffers frown on retakes for tests that are that high...they may interpret it as an unhealthy obsession.

lol thanks to everyone who posted
elisa, i didn't really use a book, but I went to borders to take a few practice tests the week before
studying for ap bio was good enough to take both the ap and the sat II tests

What about retaking a 740 Lit if I am confident I will improve? Sorry, if this is just as obsessive and ridiculous as the 760, but it seems a bit different.
