Just wondering if you guys think its too late to ask the coach for consideration to be put on the team. Ive been trying to email him the past month, but he has not really responded. Recently though my coach told me to shoot him an email.
I got pretty good academic standings (4.00) and pretty good in sport, but im not prodigy like some athletes are. Do you think I would have a chance to get recruited at all? Would the coach be able to give me any boost in admissions?

hm… I would call and ask if they’re done. Most of Stanfords athletes apply early, and many start the recruiting process at the end of their sophomore year. But hey, he might have slots left or he might add a letter of support to your application. Either way, calling can’t hurt!

No if you are “pretty good” it won’t boost admissions. You need to be All-American level

Depending on the sport, and how good you are at it, I wouldn’t expect to get a response.

If you really want to see if it’s too late, try calling as frosty6 mentioned.
