Prospective but unsure

Hi all, I'm in the 2nd semester of my senior year, and was wondering if I'd get accepted into any decent engineering schools. I am planning on majoring in chemistry also. Here's my stats:

Top 25% of class of around 490
GPA: 3.55 Weighted
Sat I: 1340
Sat II's:
Physics - 720
Chemistry - 710
Literature - 680 :(
ACT: 29 - Planning to get this up to 30 hopefully
O.K recommendations - I just moved to this school the beginning of junior year.
Good essays
EC's:
Tennis 2 years
Soccer 1 year
100 Hours community service
Here's the thing I hope adcoms will look at: I went from a 2.4 freshman year to a 4.8 senior year.

Now, all across the country, what would be my chances for some decent engineering schools? I know I'm not ivy material, but my counselor suggested state colleges or w/e.
Thanks!

Help please? anyone?

michigan has an extremely good engineering program

Interesting. I am most likely going to a college on the southeast also.

my old name is Newby and you r Newbie, where u from?

What do you mean where am I from? Location? If so, I live in St. Louis.

scranton? errrr engineering? errrr....

r u aiming for any ivies? (stats isnt everything in the admisson process)

Well I didn't think I was Ivy material because of my low GPA and my lack of EC's. I got all my EC's done in only junior/senior year so I really slacked off. I doubt many Ivy colleges would want someone like me, when there are plenty of people who beat the crap out of my GPA, unweighted, and they have better EC's. In short, probably not. The only Ivy I have the slightest chance in my opinion is WUMSTL.

i have a friend going to Stanford with staight Bs, so there's always hope

He probably had awesome EC's.

not of ivy quality. the key word here is "personality"
