I am consider applying to transfer to UW-Madison for my sophomore year. I am currently a freshman at another big ten school and got a 3.59 gpa taking 15.5 credits. I plan on getting the same or better Gpa this semester.

What school are you coming from? What school/major are you applying to? Did you apply to UW-Madison out of hihg school?
Looks like you are proving you can do college work at a major U. Your HS record was not likely to get you into UW but you have improved. You need to check deadlines for fall- it may have passed by now or is soon.
