Prospective Transfer Questions

Hello, I am interested in transferring to UF. After searching for various answers on UF websites, I thought that maybe someone could help shed some light on a few questions that I had.

1) I currently attend another Florida state university, and I will have 60+ credits at the end of the spring semester. Will receiving an AA at my current state university increase the likelihood of acceptance, or are the 60 credits seen as equivalent to the AA degree?

2) When are transfer students notified of acceptance? Is there a time window in which I should start anticipating the result of my application?

3) What is the likelihood of being accepted to a limited access major?

4) Will having 18 credits in a limited access major increase likelihood of acceptance?

5) Concerning residency, how would you classify this situation? A student lived in Florida for 12 years, graduated from a Florida high school, and currently attends a state university with the bright future scholarship. Shortly after high school, the parents move away, yet the dependent student still resides fully in Florida. The student has proof of permanent residence, voting rights, and also has a driver license.

6) Should I also send in high school transcripts and SAT scores, or are these unnecessary for junior transfer students?

7) Is there anybody I could e-mail these questions to at UF? I have not found any e-mail addresses that seem to fit my need. I have also sent one e-mail previously but have not received a response.

Thank you very much, I appreciate your help.
