Hi, everyone. I go to school in Florida, I really want to go to USC. I had a 2.5 high school GPA, and my SAT scores were low (1520). I was not really dedicated in high school. I was involved in theatre alot in high school. But then I went to community college-- I have completed 60 credits from there with a 3.7 GPA. I am in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor society.
I am heavily interested in the School of Dramatic Arts- BA program. I want to apply for the Fall 2015. Does anyone think I have a chance as a transfer student?

Worth a shot! I don’t believe SAT matters when transferring to USC, although I did send my high school transcripts to them. If you can get some good letters of rec and beef up extra curricular activities you may have a chance. USC also does a personal statement and essay so you definitely have a few chances to make yourself stand out!

First question: Can you afford USC? Tuition is high, housing costs in California are extremely high. Apply, but beware that this is an extremely expensive school. Financial aid is not that great.

I’d say you have a chance. There’s a USC forum you might want to post in.
