Prospie Wants to Know About ILR in Dublin

While walking over to my info session at Ives (where I was the ONLY student attending...a little weird but definitely more informative than those "come and sit with 50 other kids and let us read from the website and take questions from parents interested in the complex details of our meal plan offerings and appropriate dormitory linen" info sessions at most places), I saw a poster for a study abroad program ILR set up with the business school at University College in Dublin. I checked out the website and it sounds awesome. I know I'm only a prospie w/ little chance of getting in (my mediocre qualifications available over here [http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cornell-university/719011-ilr-chances-advise-needed.html]), but does anyone have any experience with this awesome sounding program? I absolutely LOVE Dublin--it's the coolest city in the world. Are admissions within ILR competitive or does anyone in ILR who wants to do it get to go? I read on the website that financial aid carries over. I'm basically just looking to see if anybody has gone or knows somebody who has gone.

meet the gpa requirement and get your distribution credit done and you should qualify…

many dont b/c they’re focused on other activities

That makes a lot of sense. Same reason given by a lot of kids at other colleges that don’t go study abroad. Thanks.
