So I just received a provisional admission from calstate LA. What does this mean? Do I ha e to take the EPT/ELM exam? They didn’t specify that I have to send my first semester transcript for senior year, should I still send it? Last question, I applied for other calstates but they have not told me about the EPT/ELM and my transcript for senior year. Only Dominguez hills asked for the transcript. Should I still take the exams and send them my transcript even though they didn’t ask for it?
Provisional admission to any Cal State usually means that you have to pass all a-g courses Senior year with a C or higher. If you are not exempt from the ELM or EPT, then you need to take these exams if you plan to enroll in any of the Cal states. If you have been admitted to any of these schools, it should spell out what is required to maintain your admission in your portal. Some Cal states will ask for Mid-year transcripts and some will not, just check your portal for the “to do list”.
