I applied to LSU about a month ago. Today I checked my application status online and it said
"A provisional decision has been reached. Applicants are notified of provisional decision by mailed correspondence only. Additional documents are required in order to proceed with the final decision process and correspondence will be (or has been) sent to you listing each document required."

It’s a ‘form’ response, and they told everyone the same thing, whether the provisional decision is YES or NO, or

They have different responses for the acceptances, the deferreds, and the rejecteds, in which case, I wouldn’t think they would need additional documents to finalize a rejection.

No way of knowing which it is. Good Luck!!!

If I had to guess, I would say they have decided they want to admit you but need documentation on something in your app - maybe final transcripts from your high school or something like that.
