PS3 and Others Game Wishlist

So what are the best PS3 games out for the holiday season?
I guess if people want to make lists for XBOX 360, Wii, and PC they can.

video games = waste of time

lol

resistance 2, little big planet, rock band, cod world at war, and definitely mgs4. And to Stone cutter give yourself a big duh. did you expect to learn calculus from a video game. i think people play video games to kill time.

Killing is wrong and barbaric.

You can kill time by doing something other than playing video games...

l4d for pc ftw

There have been so few threads on HSL about games. Glad somebody threw some light on this vital subject.
FINAL FANTASY XIII!

If video games are a waste of time, I guess I can also view posting on HSL portion of CC as another waste of time.

Hey Millhouse, I’m actually in a tough situation.. I want to get a xbox 360 or ps3, but I’m not sure if it is worth it, due to the fact I will only play it on the weekends and during vacation. I also feel at times its unproductive, but sometimes it’s fun. This is a tough situation, anyone have a recommendation as to what I should do?

PS3 is such a beautiful, powerful, piece of crap.

That's why I stick with computer games = there just as fun, way less money commitment if you already have a decent computer. Starcraft 2 is coming out in three installments... that's going to be insane. There goes my life

Yeah PC games are so much more better. The gameplay is twice as good, you can play with more people online, costs less in the long run if you buy a good PC and pc games usually cost 10-20 bucks left.

I have a PC and a 360, but I stopped playing my 360 once i had to send it back twice because of the ring of death....

who says you don't learn anything from video games. i actually met a really cool guy from Wales and i learned that although we live far apart we still interact the same way. in your face mom and dad and you said video games killed brain cells.

somead896, do you think it's worth it to still get a video system even if i will only play it on the weekend/during vacation? and do you find video games distracting you from your studies?

well i actually haven't played ANYTHING on my ps3 for about 6 months... i decided i have nothing better to do so I might as well play again...
if you don't mind paying for it then get the ps3 because it should be a long term system...
the problem with PC games (which i used to play all the time) is that you constantly need to buy upgrades for your comp to actually run the game and it ends up being really expensive

@ fendey516 : If it's a video game system (PS3/X360) then I don't think it'll be very distracting b/c you might even be too lazy to turn the system on. If the game is on your working computer, then yes. That'd be horribly distracting.

l4d dude, so epic. FFXIII and little big planet. Alas, I don't have a PS3, I'd like to though.

I personally cant wait for FFXIII and FFXIII Verses

Its been delayed like 2 years...
