Living in Lakeside and im trying to connect my ps3 to the internet. I have a macbook so i cant do whatever it says on DHNet. Anyone know how to connect it using apple or do i need windows to do it?

You have to have windows and two ethernet ports. I’ve been working on it too and it is literally impossible with Mac’s Internet sharing protocols.

email DHNet saying that you want to be part of the new testing they are doing to eliminate internet sharing and when they send you an email you should be able to hook up the ethernet directly to the ps3

Hi Santi.

From what I’ve learned so far, it’s not possible for macs.

Mac OS X:

* Apple products do not support connection sharing over an 802.1X connection.

On the following page: [DHNet - Get Connected - Internet Connection Sharing](http://www.dhnet.ufl.edu/getconnected/tutorials/wired/ics/)

You’ll have to use a PC, apparently. If in doubt, I’d submit an iservice desk request specifically for DHNET explaining that you’re using a Mac.

Good luck.
