Which one is better.

For me it PS3, Xbox 360 and ,Wii

Depends on what you are looking for.

ITT: We post our gamertags/PSN

If you have a friend code, go f*** yourself with a cactus.

360 & PS3 > Wii

A cactus? A rusty tent pole slathered in a thick pearly substance would be just as effective.

I have a PS3, just wanted to see peoples opinions on it. My cousin has a 360 and the graphics can’t compare to the PS3.

Wii for party games when friends are over, Xbox 360 for everything else.

PS3 has amazing graphics.

The graphics for 360 and PS3 are nearly identical on every multi-platform game; PS3 games look a bit better than 360 games about as often as 360 games look better than PS3 games. With that said, the PS3 tends to have slightly better frame rates. The Wii is, of course, incomparable graphically and does not even support HD. The 360 game offerings appeal more to me than do those of the PS3 and Wii (especially the latter).

The graphics of PS3 exclusives are miles ahead of 360 exclusives’ graphics. All you have to do is look at it and you will see. Of course cross-platform games will look the same because they have been designed to run well on the lowest common denominator i.e. Xbox 360. I exclude the Wii because its a different type of console.

Most development teams do not adopt that mentality. Console games that are also available on the PC illustrate this quite clearly because they are almost uniformly graphically superior by a significant margin.

Big-budget PS3 exclusives tend to look better than big-budget 360 exclusives, yes. But I disagree with the characterization of this gap as “miles ahead.”

Mass Effect 2 was a 360 exclusive, and then made for the PS3. As you can see the PS3 wins
[YouTube - Mass Effect 2: PS3 vs Xbox 360 - Jacob](<a href=“Mass Effect 2: PS3 vs Xbox 360 - Jacob - YouTube”>Mass Effect 2: PS3 vs Xbox 360 - Jacob - YouTube)

PC’s are not consoles. Obviously games looks better on high end PC’s because you have the option of customizing resolution, AA, AF, lighting etc. On consoles you can only “customize” the resolution output. Even then all the settings are streamlined so that the console game runs smoothly. And on a side note, development teams don’t give a **** about the PC version of releases. They neglect to patch, update, and refine PC products time and time again because consoles are where the money is at.

Nor did I claim that they were. You implied incorrectly that cross-platform games’ graphics are designed to reach the limits of the least technically capable platform for which the game is released.

Who cares about graphics. Wii has better / more entertaining games, and therefore wins.

^ uhm…

Superior graphics make a game better.

I actually find the Wii’s offerings to be the least appealing of the three by far.

Even if that is incorrect, as you claim, it is irrelevant. PS3 exclusives look better than 360 exclusives. Thus the PS3 is capable of better-looking graphics. That’s all I’m saying.

As much as I dislike the Wii, that statement just isn’t true. Super Mario World>all

I completely agree that the PS3 is more technically capable than the 360. However, it also costs more to develop a PS3 game, and the PS3 exclusives, on the whole, don’t look enough better than the 360 exclusives to matter a whole lot.

This recent IGN feature may be helpful to those who are trying to determine which console’s games appeal the most to him or her:

ps3.

xbox’s only upside: everyone has it. easier party management.

also, sony fails at advertising. i talk about the playstation move, and the other person says “ohhh, is that like the kinect?” Come on sony, learn to advertise like microsoft/ xbox and youll win.
