IMO, I don’t really see the point of further discussion… if the CB says it’s right, it’s right; if they say it’s wrong, it’s wrong. I’m just going to sit here and wait for my score.

when are scores released?

Sometime in December methinks.

but i just went over an SAT practice test in the new BB and in practice test two #34 of writing, theres a VERY similar question to the “to build” instead its “to help” and the answer was NOT “to help”.

Was it in the center or the other one

also for #34 is the general consensus Came??

^What are you talking about?

I looked at the new BB for #34 in practice test 2–there is no sentence with “to help”. IDK what you’re talking about.

I know im being a jerk or whatever but can you please write in complete sentences. I don’t understand you.

I’m not going to comment on the “to build” question. You may think I’m wrong for marking “to build” as being the incorrect part of the sentence, but like I said in an earlier post, it’s ultimately up to the CB to decide.

For #34, I think the general consensus is that it’s NE. (Which I agree with, actually.)

I know for sure I have -1 W at this point. I can either have -2 W or -3 W, though, depending on the extent to which CB’s answers match up with CC’s answers. Or I could be lucky and get to keep my -1 W.

I thought the general consensus was Came??? Any comments by anyone else?

Eh just gonna worry about the real SAT. This doesnt have much value anyway lol.

F*** the general consensus. I put came.

I recall putting “no error.” But honestly, I don’t remember the sentence well.

^ah well. Looks like one of us is right. And we’re gona find out in December. But for me it doesn’t matter anymore. I know i didn’t make my state cutoff (221) so i don’t really care anymore. Had i gotten all my math questions correct, i would have been arguing the crap out of everyone here on those writing questions but i just don’t care anymore.

i want december to come sooner.

^ and i don’t care if thats gramatically incorrect.

^ i think that sentence is fine [:

and i think our school gets the results around nov, so you guys should check w/ your counselor around then :D

What do they do for a month with the scores?

Yea, why do they take longer to score the PSAT’s than the SAT’s? The extended length, to me, implies that the PSAT’s are more important or something.

Ideally, we should be able to see our scores the same day that we take it. (The high schools should be able to scan the Scantrons and relay the information to a server at the College Board, where the curve would be determined.)

^yea, only if…

I’m pretty sure College Board would never trust schools to be honest about it…

As I gather from cc postings that Wednesday PSAT was harder than Saturday’s, does CB apply different scoring system? They had better!!! Anyone has any idea?
