Thanks Funkie! I think I got those both right :)

What was the question about where they gave like
4,5,5,6,6,7,x and you had to find x?
I said 5.5 but it seemed so simple that I feel I got it wrong…
Also, what was the one about the eulogist? I said remonstrate but I think that’s wrong as well.
And what about the one that had the options of a historical account and a personal analogy? I was about to say analogy (because they are) but I didn’t think it was “personal” from the author. I might have said the historical one, I forget though.

Oh well, I’m a sophomore so there’s room to improve before the National Merit Scholarship!

wait for the hybrid car one, it was B right? (or the one that was “were”)
I know this is already in the huge answer compilation, but just verifying.

wasnt a personal analogy, it said personal anecdote, but it is indeed analogy

do you rmbr how/why you got the answer 5 for the OP question? i dont rmbr what i put but im pretty sure i know the process i solved it with

oh right! okay well I remember I didn’t do the personal one, so I hope I said anecdote!

any predictions -3cR, -0M, -2W

that will most likely be CR:74, M: 80, W: 76 = 230

GoodJobBro, I put the public efforts one for 24 too.

Also, does anyone remember exactly what the union question asked? Because if it’s just the elements in the union, it’s m+k-2.

collegebound666, I also got 2 for two grid-in’s. They were lined up vertically, so like 38 and 34 possibly?

Hmmm -3 CR -1W and -4 math?

(I know I did bad, I am a sophomore so hopefully I can improve)

Thx kayshoe

Here’s a conversion table for all of you who keep asking:

What do you think would be a -8 CR, -2 M, and -2 W?

oh man i feel like im just at the mark between being semi and not being a semi. does anyone know how much the cutoffs fluctuate from year to year?

Looking at the chart (which seems unnecessarily confusing lol) it says I would get around a 225 to 230 with my estimated scores, but realistically it’s probably less than that, so I’m hoping for at least a 215.

Ok, well I had to go to a cross country meet right after so I forgot a lot of the test. At first I thought I wasn’t NMS because I got a lot wrong, but reading these answers is making me feel better, I think I was M0, CR-3.75 (possibly more), W-1(that was posted, could easily be a bunch more).

I just have a few questions:
- I still don’t understand Ominous, I put Morbid
- Does anyone remember a question like “A Woman expecting children need to take iron supplements to help them maintain their energy”? I put her maintain her. Also I could be remembering the sentence wrong.
- What was the problem having to do with finding a cure for diseases/viruses? It might be mitigate that it goes along with but I’m not sure.

One more question, the answer is posted as this “Than that of any monarch”, what would you have inserted to get this answer? I’m guessing either than that of any or just any.

first of all, it couldn’t be morbid because it didn’t have to do with death…
ominous = foreboding/threatening… the author was talking about the “dark side” of what “databasification” could mean for the future, and i would say the opportunity for government abuse of it is ominous

i put that too

something about a doctor not being content to only ___ a disease but rather aiming to eradicate it or something… i put mitigate too

I totally disagree that flipping the switch was wrong. it sounded horrible and you want to scold the PSAT people for writing such bad sentences, but there was no grammatical error.

also, what was the whole question for the one in math where 8 was the answer?
