nd = 180 was the first question of section 2. it was something like:
- If n/18 = 10/d, what is nd?

nd = 180 was the first question of section 2. it was something like:

Is NMS really a big deal though? Would you even bother writing it on your applications (assuming that your SAT score will testify to your testing ability)…?

Seeing all the overachieving CCers here makes me feel pretty hopeless about my chances at NMS (in California). Too bad we don’t all live in Wyoming or something T.T

yeah…nms really isn’t much.
the money seems nice though, even though we don’t get it for a really long time. xD

thats true, a lot of people getting it so not too prestigious. but its not gonna hurt you, so might as well try and get it

Do you think -4 on math, -0 on cr, and -0 or 1 on writing would still be eligible for NMS?

Sorry, i mean, -4 on math, -2 on cr (1 omitted), and -0 or 1 in writing

hmm… that’s about a 670 math, 780 cr, and 800 writing. so… 225. should be.

^depends on your state. Where do you live?

Hopefully not in DC or MA or somewhere like that :P

-2M, -4CR, -3W … prob not gonna make it?

CR: -4, omit 1, Math: -1, Writing: -1
Score?

Wait, what do you guys mean by -4? Are you including the guessing penatly?
I have a -4 with the guessing penalty included.

@indianajones, you’ll prob make it

@daniel you might depending on ur state. I’m in california, so I need a pretty high score to make it…

does ot really go by the state your in?

Well ummmm I’m definetly a noob here.

Yes. NJ, MA, and DC are typically the hardest states, CA and NY close behind.

And yes I know DC is not a state lol

@indiana, im NY, so its gonna be close. what do you think?

DC is the hardest state? That’s a bit odd considering DC is notorious for having the failingest school system ever.

I’m CA I have no chance at NMS. I’m seriously freaking out I feel really dumb.

i hate living in such a competitive state -_-
