^ I thought that one could have been either of those, but had just a few seconds left and chose boorish but understandable.

^ What was the elitist/short-sighted question for? I thought that it was “imprudent” because the author is saying that they are recklessly charging into the space programs… I wouldn’t say that the public would be elitist.

I found the 1st reading section hard; it was hard to concentrate for me. If I don’t get 2200+, that’s gonna be the main reason. My nerves were too jolted, and I should’ve waken up earlier to do a section or two…

I put “hypothetical musing” - didn’t feel right though.

What did you guys put for the last find the error question?

Also for the sister of x author’s intentions?

that’s what i said too.
what did everybody get for the last math question about volume of cylinder?

The albeit part was a concession, right?

Parallelogram and does anyone remember the sentence that started with “That”?

I’m probably wrong, but could the tone for Passage 2 about space travel possibly be resigned? That’s what I put and am kicking myself over.

“Elitist”-answer choice for the essay about urban sprawls.

the “that” question was
that thieves couldn’t sell off their stolen art work something… means the something black market was declining.
i said that was the error because it should be because

“That the group of thieves could not sell all of their stolen artwork indicated that the black market was declining.”? Is that it? I thought the error was in “was declining” - shouldn’t it be “had declined”?

^ I put no error I believe.

Parallelogram: It’s a 30-60-90 triangle with a hyp. of 40, and the side was of parallelogram was opposite the 30 side, or 20. 20 x 68 should be the area.

Also Caesar salad question. I put “but was named”, switched it from “but”. I have no idea why I did. What did you guys put?

^“But” for the Ceasar salad question. “But was named” would have repeated the “was named”, which was already earlier in the sentence. Was not named for X, but for Y…right?

russgenious- agree with all your answers.

for the Caesar salad question: the sentence contained “…not for Julius Caesar… BUT for”, so that’s correct. (parallel structure) :)

for the writing question that started with “that”, I put “that” as the error.

what did you guys get for the sentence completion question in reading with one of the choices being gambit…and something else. The question was like some guy is very something, and he had run out of something he could say…i may be totally wrong about how that question was written though

Ploys…artifice because the second blank corresponded to a fictional thing.

wait…so the Julius ceasar question does have a an error…right? Because i’m pretty sure i circled something in the middle of that sentence.

I over thought the parallel structure and added “was named”. What was I thinking lol… at least this wasn’t on the real SAT. Learning experience!

Reading sections: Vocab in context “Broach” was to bring up and “slippery” was? What about the italics of the word “between”? I’m pretty sure I made bad mistakes on the 1st reading section…

What is a typical PSAT curve?

broach was to bring up, slippery was unreliable, “between” was to emphasize a different meaning to a previously used word.

^yay! same answers.

Chart from 2010 PSAT.

I didn’t know what “posterity” meant and put “E” for the “between” question. Mind is going blank on remember the reading questions even though I had the most trouble on it. Any other questions on the 1st section? Oh - the main purpose of that author article.

^ Sure that last one couldn’t have been “underscore the significance of a finding in the previous paragraph”? I got down to your answer and mine, now thinking I might have been wrong. >_<

I stared at that question for a while, drawing nothing. We’ll see what others put.
