So basically, here's the story. I am Senior and after the PSATs last year when I got my score report it said I was among the top 50,000 or whatever and that they would contact me in September. Then some time later they sent this form that they send to the top 50,000 students so that they could fill in two schools that they are interested in.
But now, in October, I still haven't received a letter saying that I am at least commended. Just wondering if this is supposed to happen since my score isn't that high...I thought even if you are not a semi-finalist or a finalist as long as you are in the top 50,000 you'd be commended? Super confused.

if you haven’t been contacted by NOW, then you are neither commended nor semifinalist.

reports should have came out like 2-3 weeks ago. I know cause my school announced theirs weeks ago

I don’t think you get a certificate if you’re commended. The same happened to me.

Really? I feel like they should at least keep their promise and actually let you know that you are not commended. I don’t care too much but still

i got mine last week? its just a small certificate saying that you’re commended.

Congrats…has this happened to anyone else though?

This just means that your school hasn’t released the list of commended scholars yet. You are still ok.

But but but but other people kinda got theirs? I mean…a notification of some sort would be nice even if I didn’t get it.

what is your PSAT score? the cutoff for commended is like 205 nation wide
