Yes.
There were two PSAT test dates this year, both on Wednesdays - Oct 14 and Oct 28.
Thanks - I’m sorry if I missed this, but when are results expected (for the 14th sitting)?
@rhandco Mid-December
When will NMS release the score cutoffs for each state?
Based on the PSAT, the new SAT seems much easier than the old SAT. Do you guys think that all the new SATs will be easier like this, or do you think the Collegeboard will make it much harder when the new SATs start coming out?
Results will be posted on 12/12
@Cocohorse Have you looked at/taken the SATs on KhanAcademy? Those are new SATs written by College Board.
@jjlundy Oh no, I haven’t. Thanks, I’ll have to check them out. Do they appear easier than the old SAT? (Sorry, I’m not familiar with either new or old SAT, only having taken one practice test for each.)
Just got back from my ban
Welcome back!
So I just posted a (very long) comment in another thread discussing some info I got to today from the NMS people regarding cutoffs for kids in boarding schools (including day students). If that interests you, please see here:

When will the scores be released (exact date)?
Look above and you will see a date of 12/12.
Per PrepScholar website:
I think they will be available online this year in a couple of weeks.

@2muchquan So my school could possibly have them by tomorrow right? I’ll check with them tomorrow.
I just have to say I think it is insane that some schools hold onto these scores until a few weeks into January. I do not understand why they can’t give them out when they are received.
^ I agree. Three years ago, DS14’s school distributed scores in early December. I remember reading on cc that year that other students/parents reporting receiving scores all the way into late January.
@4beardolls …D17 school website says release will be in the second week of January!! They did this last year also. They combine the release of scores with an info session about dual credit classes offered and also supposedly college planning. Seriously. It was not anything new to any of us and was barely what one could gather from a simple google search. The “guidance counselor” hands the slip of paper to you and that’s it. No “guidance” really happened.
It’s really unproductive for schools to hold scores. For many students, this is their first official score. Knowing it will help families to start formulating target schools.
