@mom3eps Do you recall which questions the mistakes were in?

@tigerrocks13 @foliontai Ok, well that means the sample scale that College Board has provided was somewhat accurate. A -7 on the sample chart is a 730, whereas in reality it was a 720. For R+W, a -1 would be a 750 on the sample chart, but in reality it was a 760. Therefore, we may assume that the sample chart given is accurate.

If I am remembering all of the numbers correctly, my sophomore D’s composite was 1280. Percentiles for her composite score were 95 and 97, I think (the two sets of percentiles threw me–I don’t understand the difference). Even though that score seems relatively low, because her reading/writing scores were significantly higher than math (670 to 610), and we live in a state with historically low PSAT scores, according to prepscholar’s predicted selection index cutoffs, my D would be NMSF if she were a junior. Wacky!

@ShrimpBurrito How many questions did your daughter miss in math to get a 610…

@ShrimpBurrito Do you remember how many questions she got wrong and the scaled score for each part i.e. reading, writing, and math?

No, I’m sorry, I don’t remember. If I’d known they were going to take the scores away I would have taken screenshots!

@YoohooAddict @ShrimpBurrito I think, plausibly, that she would have missed 17-18 math questions to get a 610 on math, and she would have had to miss 8-9 on R+W to get a 670, according to the Sample Score Chart provided by the CB which I think matches the scores of previous people who have reported their scores.

Did anyone who received a TASP email get lower than a 220ish for selection?

It’s times like now that being from Massachusetts sucks… our score cut off is so high :((

In the score report do they provide the correct answers beside your answers?

Son got 720 on rw, and 740 on math. NM index 218. All 99%tile. Can’t remember the breakdowns.

@pokemon1 Yes, the score report has your answer, the correct answer, the difficulty level, and the category that was being tested. And when you look at QuickStart, they let you see the questions you missed along with the right answer and an explanation.

@pokemon1 yes, at least according to the example score report

Anybody think scores will be released tomorrow? I checked and mine weren’t up yet, only last year’s.

@amdcous I doubt it, but you could possibly get it from your counselor, depending on his or her mood.

Alright thanks, that’s a relief, she’ll give it to me when I ask her tomorrow.

Can anyone that was fortunate enough the check there score report PM me a screen shot of just the answers? I have a habit of writing my answers in the test booklet before converting so using the answer I could check how well I did.

Same here please
