<p>Does anyone know what PSAT score is needed in NY to get the national merit semi finalist thing or w/e the scholarship is called. Thanks for the help.</p>

<p>It was 208 last year or the year before I believe. It is possible that it wlll fluctuate a bit but not by much, usually only by +/-1.</p>

<p>thats impossible to say, it changes every year, you find out when you learn if youre a semifinalist - but it is about 218, usually one of the highest, if not the highest, in the country</p>

<p>yeah, i know PA is around 215 every year, and ny is usually a couple points higher than us, so 218 sounds pretty acurate. </p>

<p>if you are just around there though, you might wanna call your school and ask if they have access to last years numbers to give you a better idea.</p>

<p>I heard from other people it was 222- which was it?</p>

<p>And when do we find out? I know at my school they didn't annouce until like September senior year.</p>
