Does anyone know the cutoff for NY?

<p>I thought the cutoff for semi was 221, since apparently in 2005 it was 219, but some person said that this year for NY it is 222.
Does anyone know for sure?</p>

<p>Yeah, the cutoff this year was 221. You don't find out what the next year's PSAT cutoff is until exactly one year from today (minus a few weeks).</p>

<p>221? Wow it was 218 a few years back, it really shows how good kids have gotten these days... imagine a couple more years and it will be around 230...</p>

<p>in DC and "smarter" states such as MA, i think the cutoff is around 223-225, so if those increase...</p>

<p>I doubt the cutoff will jump more than 2 points, if even that, so the max possible cutoff for NY for the 2006 PSAT would probably be 223 (assuming edwardz is correct)</p>
