Ok, fast forward to the writing passage about women facing discrimination in the workplace/deciding own work environment.

what did you put for "which sentence would best be added to the end of the passage?

-though they face discrimination, they are just as capable as men
-they need to stay in the unhospitable environment to help out others

I said virtually identical

virtually identical

i put "equally enigmatic" because it said she was mysterious or something, and hence enigmatic

"equally enigmatic"

No - it was revealingly dissimilar because she says that they were very different accounts, because one was what she wrote personally.

Actually I doubt PSAT results matter too much in the long run, unless it is solely for financial/scholarship purposes

she wrote both of them personally
she wrote the letters and the biography under a different name thats all

Equally enigmatic is possible, but I doubt dissimilar is correct; the author had even commented on how the biographer fused/captured her character.

yea she wrote both of them BUT the passage pointed out that the narrator was extremely surprised how different they were. It pointed that out in the first paragraph

"vitually identical" is too extreme
how can they be "virtually identical"???????????? absurd

but doesn't enigmatic mean confusing adn puzzling?

i don't think that was what the author was trying to convey

I put equally enigmatic =/ now I'm not so sure ...

why not
the author was a freak after all
she had self-contempt and was a paradox
she wanted power
therefore, enigmatic is the right term

I wonder whether there might be a curve in the critical reading section??

hopefully, it seems like there are a lot people had differences on
