the sentence contained the word "doubt" in it

I chose the second one (stay in inhospitable...). I thought it should relate to the sentence above it ... but it seems alot more people chose the first one (just as capable...)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

theres an update.

Zachsta, which test was it from?

What was the sentence that had the answer as vaunted?

Take a poll about the women workplace question

put an x next to teh answer you chose:

inhospitable environment
discrimination but still just as capable X
other

and Master, it is definitely a different test on Saturday, and a different test for the make up day, etc.

ak2, it was something like "the officers were so braggy that the ___ the work as their own."

Writing: "capable to make distinctions" -wrong, should be "capable of making distinctions"

discrimination but still just as capable X

does anyone remember a writing question about being able to see a city and other towns if you climb a mountain or something?

it was wrong because it used a wrong word similar to the correct word....i think the correct word was visible but i cant remember

Hey zachsta, thanks for answering

Strangely, I don't remember answering that question lol

It was "stay in the workplace though it may be risky." The just as "capable" one had nothing to do with the paragraph preceding it and was therefore wrong.

Also, the correct answer was "revealingly dissimilar." The whole point was that the biography painted a different picture (her real self) than her letters (the myth she created for herself).

hey andrea I remember. visible instead of visual to

thanks ak2

was it VEHEMENCE or FEROCITY

it was definitely vehemnce... this was the one about the manager right?

oh i remember that.

i think it was vehement.

wasnt it something about how he usually got ____ about criticism, but this time he outdid himself and was _____

yep. vehemence

incensed....venhemence
