PSAT prep HELP

i'm thinking of preparing for next semester's(junior year) PSAT test & i was wondering if anyone could advise me on how to go about studying. I was thinking about doing several practice tests from my prep book (Kaplan). should i just take a diagnostic test to see where im at then go from there?
(btw-im trying to get a 210[2100] or higher...its possible right? and success stories???)
lol. lets chat! :D

went from 199 soph year to 223 junior year. I used barrons book, where i consistently scored 190-200 on their practice tests. Then i went to take the test and got back a 223. Do some reading practice q's. that helped me. for math, well i just read more carefully. For writing which i did the worst on, i just went over grammar rules.

THANKS
i'm using Kaplan now, do u think thats ok, or should i switch to barrons?
i really hope i can improve...my previous PSAT was ATROCIOUS... i could have cried...:[

Take endless practice tests, and don't give up.

I recommend Kaplan's "2400", it's helped me.

"thebeef"- did u just follow the book & wat did u get?

anymore suggestions!?!

I used the blue book primarily to study and Kaplan PSAT/NMSQT for further studying and practice test. I received a 222

ok cool, i'll take the advise and just do LOADS of practice tests, and get more books
