PSAT Question

Hi,

I haven't studied for PSATs or SATs yet.
Last year, when I took PSAT as a sophmore I got around 170.
I was wondering how to start preparing for SAT?
Is it impossible to get around 2000 from a person with such a low PSAT score? Also, does studying by yourself with blue book, barrons, or PR help increase your score or is some kind of tutor necessary?
I know these questions are really vague and SAT score is totally upto how much you study and prepare.. but just want some good advices about start studying them. Your replies will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! and good
luck to those taking one tomorrow!!

I got a 165 as a sophomore and went to a 208 as a junior and then a 2180 on the SAT so it is very possible. The blue book is a good book to use. Do as many practice tests as you can and you are bound to get better.
